Case study: measured building survey of Don Bosco Hostel, Brunswick

Don Bosco Hostel and youth centre at 707-737 Sydney Road, Brunswick, needed current floor plans across a large two-storey community building: hostel, youth centre, chapel, dining and kitchen, offices and three street-front shops. The drawings on hand were older and could not be relied on for areas or layout.

The job was a site measure for an existing conditions / measured building survey, delivered through site measurement and as-built drawings in Melbourne. The visit is always a free quote. What was measured

Two levels, room by room, including the three shops and the youth centre kitchen. Five sheets were drawn: site boundaries with ground and first floor plans, a detailed ground floor plan, the youth centre kitchen plan, and a detailed first floor plan, with room-by-room areas plus total and net lettable area schedules per level.

Outcome
